What this is all for.
The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the group. It is not yet registered as a charity. Programmes will be announced when it is formally constituted.
Where this stands today. Charitable status not yet held. No donations are being accepted. The Foundation will publish its terms at registration.
The Foundation is the long answer to the question of why we built the group at all.
We intend to open three programmes once the Foundation is formally constituted. The first: small grants for tertiary students in the parishes we operate in — on published terms, not patronage. The second: direct food security interventions, beginning with the communities closest to our operations. The third: support for the caregivers who keep those same communities running — a group that is chronically under-served.
None of this is possible before charitable status is secured. We are not accepting donations. We are not collecting money. We are telling you what this company is being built toward — so that when the Foundation opens, you know why it took this long.
Small grants for tertiary students in our home parishes, on published terms.
Direct food security interventions, beginning with communities closest to our operations.
Support for the caregivers who keep communities running — paid leave, training, respite.
“When this group profits, education and food security in Jamaica are not an afterthought. They are the reason.”
This is the closing sentence of the group's founding story. It is the reason the discipline exists — the reason the books are kept, the reason the weekly close matters, the reason we resist shortcuts. Every arm earns toward this end, in its own time, at its own pace.
Add yourself to the notify list. We will write once — when the Foundation is formally constituted and ready to receive applications.
No updates, no newsletters. One message, when it matters.
